This File Usage Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of the Dezign District platform ("Platform"), including but not limited to architects, designers, suppliers, and any other users who access or use the Platform (collectively, "Users"). By using the Platform, Users agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Ownership of Files
All 3D files, BIM files, and other digital content ("Files") uploaded to the Platform are owned by the person or entity that created and uploaded them ("Uploader"). The Uploader retains all rights to their Files, subject to the license granted to Dezign District and its Users under this Policy.
3. License to Use Files
By uploading Files to the Platform, the Uploader grants Dezign District and its Users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the Files for the purposes of using the Platform and its services. This license does not include any rights to modify the Files or to use them for commercial purposes outside the Platform, unless explicitly permitted by the Uploader.
4. Prohibited Uses of Files
Users may not:
- Use any Files in a manner that infringes the rights of the Uploader or any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, or other proprietary rights.
- Use any Files for any illegal, harmful, or offensive purpose, or to promote or engage in any illegal, harmful, or offensive activity.
- Distribute or share Files with any third parties outside the Platform, unless explicitly permitted by the Uploader.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices displayed on or in connection with the Files.
5. Responsibilities of Users
Users are solely responsible for their use of any Files obtained from the Platform. Dezign District does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or integrity of any Files, and Users use them at their own risk. Users should ensure that their use of any Files complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe that a File on the Platform violates this Policy or infringes your rights, please contact us at [email protected] . We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
7. Updates to this Policy
Dezign District reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Policy on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
