Hands and machines, together.

Designed in our studio. Made by our artisans to our drawings and our standard: machines where precision matters, hands for everything you touch.

Two kinds of precision

What the machines are for

Cutting each component to the drawing with repeatable accuracy, so the proportions we design are the proportions you receive, piece after piece.

What our artisans are for

Everything you feel. Choosing boards for grain and colour, assembling, sanding, upholstering, finishing and the final inspection: the judgement no machine has, in the parts you sit on, lean on and touch every day.

Material

Every piece starts with what it is made of. Solid teakwood, sintered stone, leather, fabrics and bouclé, and metals, each selected for how it lives, not just how it photographs.

Joinery and upholstery

Joinery, upholstery, and assembly are considered together at the design stage, so construction supports the form instead of hiding behind it.

Finish

Surfaces are finished to be touched and used. Finish options are declared on each product page, and physical samples are reviewed before a specification is confirmed.

The making, step by step

Material preparation

  1. Teakwood selectionBoards chosen for grain, density and colour before anything is cut.
  2. CuttingComponents cut to the drawing, with the grain placed deliberately.
  3. JoineryJoints made to hold for decades, sized to the piece and the load it carries.
  4. SandingSurfaces brought smooth in stages, ready to take the finish evenly.

Build and finish

  1. AssemblyThe piece comes together square, checked against the drawing at full scale.
  2. UpholsteryCut, sewn and fitted by hand to the frame it belongs to.
  3. FinishingThe chosen finish applied and sealed with a protective top coat.
  4. Inspection & packingChecked piece by piece, then packed to arrive the way it left.

Our artisans

Master craftspeople who work to our drawings and our standard. Their part of the work is the part a photograph cannot fully show: the grain matched across a tabletop, the even tension of a seat, a finish that feels right under the hand.

Every piece is checked before it is packed, and every structural frame carries our 5-year warranty.
