About Our Teak Console Tables

A console table is the first thing you see as you come home: somewhere for the keys, a lamp and a mirror above. In solid teakwood it brings warmth to a narrow space, and behind a sofa it gives the back of the room a finished edge.

Questions About Teak Console Tables

How deep is a console table?

Ours are 40 to 50 cm deep and 120 to 140 cm long, slim enough to leave a hallway clear; each page gives the exact size.

What goes above a console table?

A mirror or a painting about two thirds of the table's length, hung 15 to 25 cm above the top.

Drawers open
A chest of drawers needs its own depth again in front of it, fully open.
Reach
Shelves above 180 cm are for display and the rarely used.
Media walls
Seat-to-screen distance is roughly 1.5 to 2.5 times the screen diagonal.

Tall storage is fixed to the wall. Ask for the fixing points before delivery.
