About Our Teak Furniture
Teak is dense and naturally rich in oils, which is why solid teakwood holds its shape in a tropical climate and mellows to a soft honey tone over the years. Our teak pieces are designed in our studio and made to our drawings, from long dining tables and dining chairs to bed frames, sideboards, TV cabinets and bookshelves.
See the grain and the finishes at our Glenmarie flagship in Shah Alam, or request swatches first. Delivery across Malaysia and Singapore includes carrying in and placing each piece in your room. A soft dry cloth, and a clear furniture oil once or twice a year, keep teak looking right.
Questions About Teak Furniture
Is teak good for the Malaysian climate?
Yes. Teak is dense and rich in natural oils, so it stands up to humidity and holds its shape; keep it out of direct sun and away from the air-conditioning vent so it ages evenly.
How do I care for teak furniture?
Very little: a soft dry cloth, spills wiped at once, mats under hot and wet things, and a clear furniture oil once or twice a year.
