About Our Teak Tv Cabinets

A TV cabinet holds more than the screen: the box, the speakers, the remotes and the cables behind them. Our teak media consoles and entertainment boxes keep them in drawers, behind doors or on open shelves, in solid teakwood that sits well beside a teak coffee table or sideboard.

Questions About Teak Tv Cabinets

How wide should a TV cabinet be?

Wider than the screen, by 20 to 30 cm on each side if the wall allows, so the TV never looks perched. Ours run from 140 to 249 cm; each page gives the exact width.

Will it match my other teak pieces?

Each page shows its teak finishes, so you can choose the one your coffee table or sideboard is in, or see them side by side in Glenmarie.

Drawers open
A chest of drawers needs its own depth again in front of it, fully open.
Reach
Shelves above 180 cm are for display and the rarely used.
Media walls
Seat-to-screen distance is roughly 1.5 to 2.5 times the screen diagonal.
Anchoring
Tall storage is fixed to the wall. Ask for the fixing points before delivery.
